Its been 3 weeks since the start of the season and the boys are starting to get back to their usual self and playing much better than what we saw on the first day of the season after the defeat at Everton. 2W1L isn't exactly the best start that we've ever had however, with new players coming in and forming new partnerships and binding in the team takes time and I think the new players, Kagawa and RVP have shown just how much quality and that they deserve to be playing for the greatest team in the world.
What worries me & most of the fans is not our attacking capabilities this season or how our attacking line-up will be like because we have great options up front with the likes of Welbeck and Hernandez just waiting for their chances from the bench but our defence has been quite scary to watch at times this season. With so many injuries, what used to be the strongest defence in the league has now turned to be one of the most inconsistent back four in the league. 5 goals conceded in 3 games is just not good enough. With Jones being out for 6-8 weeks, we certainly cannot afford to waste any more time and get our new boy Alexander Buttner up and running as soon as possible.
It's still early in the season but it looks like the former gunner could actually be our savior and bring the trophy back to Old Trafford. Four goals in 2 games is a great tally. Hopefully, he doesn't get injured and maintain his great run. Once Rooney is fit and ready, he'll be hungry as ever and is determined to prove a point that he is still the main man. Looks like its gonna be another roller coaster season full of emotions but that comes with being a united fan. Roll on the new season..
